Kylian Mbappé Engel at PSG — League
The French football world champion Kylian Mbappé stays with Paris Saint-Germain-and apparently can be rewarded for his contract extension.
“I am very satisfied to stay in France, in Paris, in my city,” said the 23-year-old on Saturday evening before the last game of the season in the Prinzenpark.
As club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi announced, the exceptional striker extended his expiring contract for three years and thus decided against a change to the Spanish record champion Real Madrid.

“I hope that I can continue to do what I love the most: playing football and win trophies,” said Mbappé before the duel in the evening with FC Metz, the PSG easily won 5: 0 (3–0).
Mbappé laced a triple pack (25th, 28th, 50th). Neymar scored his 100th competitive goal for Paris (31st).
On Saturday afternoon, the newspapers “L’Equipe”, “Marca” and “Le Parisien-Aujourd’hui en France” and the radio station “RMC” had already reported that the striker had informed real president Florentino Pérez.
The alleged numbers of the new PSG deal with Mbappé are dizzying. As “EuroPSG Spain” reported, the superstar alone brings a hand money of 300 million euros for his contract signature. Mbappé’s annual salary should be 100 million euros in the future — net.
Spain’s Ligaboss speaks of “shame”
The outcry was loud in Spain. League President Javier Tebas called the agreement “a shame for football”.
That PSG with Mbappé “thanks to enormous sums” extends after the club made losses of 700 million euros in the last seasons and already had a “salary volume of 600 million euros”, “an insult to football”, Tebas wrote down Twitter.
The Spanish league announced that the European Football Union, the European Union and the French tax authorities complain.
Mbappé, who has been playing at PSG since 2017, had asked for a change to the royal last summer. But Paris declined.
A year later with the expiry of the contract, the exceptional striker was expected to change free of charge. Now it turned out differently.
