The Light Phone

Introducing the Notes Tool

A simple tool for creating audio and text notes. Notes sync with the dashboard, where they can be viewed or downloaded. You can also create text notes from the dashboard which sync to the Light Phone.

How it Works:

Creating a New Note

It’s easy to create a new note from the Light Phone II. Open Notes, and select either new audio note, or new text note icons.

Audio Notes

Press the microphone to begin recording, and the stop button to end the audio recording. Preview the recording and decide whether to save, retry or cancel the recording. You can add a title by clicking into the default “Untitled” title.

Text Notes

Use the keyboard to begin typing your note, or use the voice-to-text function on the keyboard. We’ve also added a return key to make list creating even easier.

You can edit the contents of a text note at any point by clicking into the text area when viewing the note. Edit the title by clicking it as well. By default, notes are left “Untitled”, and the list view will display a preview of the text if left “Untitled”.

Dashboard Notes Tool

Using the dashboard website you can view, edit or download any of your existing notes. Notes sync automatically between the dashboard and Light Phone. You can also create new text notes on the dashboard.
