CroNavy! What a year it has been thus far. As a collection of individuals commonly committed to Cronos, CRO and Crypto.com we have certainly had a rollercoaster ride of emotions and activity over this past year and we still encounter ever-changing updates and surprises day after day.

Most of the Crofam are very aware of the headwinds Crypto has faced this year. You are all aware of the macro-economic situations across the globe and for those of you who are still here, still building, shilling, grinding, compounding, buying, trading, swapping, gaming, the list goes on. One day, (hopefully not too far in the future), you are all going to look back on this time with memories both good and bad. Our team is doing everything we can so that you get everything you want out of this time, and you all are better off for it.

CroSwap Farms V3

CroSwap V3 Farms are now live! We have spent a significant amount of time going over every detail for this update. This update will include the use of your fresh new Quartermaster NFTs by staking them for additional rewards.

Farms Staking

NFT Staking will include 2 categories: Multi-Stake NFT Boosts and QM NFT boosts.

Multi Stake NFT Boosts

• Multi-stake NFT Boosts can be reused across multiple farms (1 MS slot per farm)

~ Multi-stake NFT Boosts can include allocated NFT’s:
~ Obsidian Nodey or the CroSwap Founder’s NFT.

QM NFT Boosts

The QuarterMasters will give you the ability to boost your ROI by increasing your harvest rewards in selected farms.

You will be able to stake up to 5 QM NFTs per selected farm depending on your time lock settings:

• 0 Days Time Lock — Stake Up to two QM’s for that farm
• 45 Days Time Lock — Stake Up to three QM’s for that farm
• 90 Days Time Lock — Stake Up to four QM’s for that farm
• 180 Days Time Lock — Stake Up to five QM’s for that farm

Each QM NFT that is staked will give you a 2% boost to your harvest rewards for a maximum boost of 10% of the base amount.

For example: If a farm has pending harvest rewards of 100 $CROS and you have staked 5 QM NFTs, the amount of your harvest rewards will be 110 $CROS.

Holders can stake or unstake NFTs provided that the farm is not currently locked into an Optimizer Strategy. The stake/unstake action will harvest your farms based on your prior boost allocation.

Farms will support the ability for users to employ optimizer strategies for a given farm that have time locks, which will automatically reinvest pending rewards to form and stake LP used by that farm.

CroSwap Quartermaster NFTs

Our much anticipated QM NFT mint is now live, the mint party we had was so much fun for those who attended and we want to thank everyone who came by to take part.

We will be holding more Mint parties for the QM NFTs soon with bigger and better prizes for everyone to win so keep an eye out for any upcoming info on those mint parties.

At the time of writing this update we have minted over 3,000 Quartermasters which is amazing! Some community members were initially concerned with the rate that these were minted at but we are not concerned. Could we have falsified our mint, of course we could have but the issue with doing that comes down to basic economics, with a falsified mint comes economic pressures to maintain the level of income into the project to keep the floors and interest high, which is not only unstainable but also morally questionable. We like that our growth is organic and we like that future CroNavy community members have an organic route to mint their own NFTs and not have to pay out the nose for second hand NFTs, controlled by small whale group(s).

We have listed them on a few NFT marketplaces and have listed them with Rarity Sniper to give you all some indication of your rankings. We have also started to review a way to display the ranks to you on our website as well as this fits developmentally for our NFT Marketplace

CroSwap Launchpad Services

We have had many requests come through for token launchpads and this has been both rewarding to see that we are trusted in the space, as well as being a positive sign for the Cronos chain ecosystem that we still have people building and producing projects in this bear market. With that being said our focus has been more on the establishment of our ecosystem internally to build out a platform for growth both in the short term and in the long term to build out our products for full multi-chain use as well as building a foundation for sustainability, we don’t want to just survive into the next bull market, we want to thrive. So we have been unable to fulfill the request for now, and in the short term our focus won’t be on launchpad services but it is going to come later down the roadmap.

CroSwap NFT Marketplace

As some of you may have heard, we have been busy filing patent applications for our technology. This will play a very real and very large factor on our NFT marketplace.

Our NFT Marketplace will facilitate the trading of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on multiple EVM compatible networks. In general, our UI/UX is focused on user experience, user flow, and simplifying how marketplaces work in the space. We’ll have all of the regular features that are expected to see on an NFT marketplace on sites like Opensea, Rarible, etc…

However, we are building a brand new feature set that has not been seen in the NFT space so far in terms of trading assets. While our patents are being filed/submitted, we have to keep the exact details around this feature set close to the chest, but we’re more than open to any suggestions that you have or features that you would like to see on a marketplace.

Every sale on the NFT marketplace will have an unconfirmed service fee that provides benefit to our ecosystem as follows:

• Used to buy and BURN $CROS.
• Sent into the CroSwap Treasury
• Sent into the USGF

CroSwap / CronosNode Merger

From December 1, we closed the CronosNode discord. We were sad to see it go as this is where our journey all began, however it was time to let it go. We had a divided community and the team and the moderators found it difficult to give the high level of customer service and community communications we are proud of.

As some of you may be aware we have now started to merge all CronosNode products into CroSwap and we will be rebranding the CronosNode NFT Project “Cargo” and “CargoHolds”

Other than the merger and basic name changes, for the most part the rest remains the same for that product for now but we would like to remind everyone of the 150,000 max limit (minus the burnt NFTs already gone into the abyss from our hijacking game.

CroSwap KYC Program

The CroSwap Team have been quietly putting together a 3 tiered KYC package for Cronos projects to take advantage of when they are striving to build trust amongst themselves and their community. This product will be made live at some point early next year. The website UI is built, the information document is built, the ticket management system on our discord is ready to go live, when we determine the correct time to launch it then it will be a fully operational product for people to use.

There will be incentives for those projects taking that extra step of security if they use a Multi-Sig wallet system for their projects. More information will come out in due course for the KYC program.

CroSwap Ambassadors

We have always acknowledged the role that you, our community, plays regarding our success. How we are viewed and seen by the world is mostly down to the engagement that you provide to the world, via community AMAs, Twitter posts, social media engagement, discord chatter, real life interactions and representation and many more ways.

For some time now we have gone back and forth with how best to bring on CroSwap official ambassadors into the CroNavy. We are aware of the voluntary requirement in most communities but we recognise the temporary nature of that setup, so we have another approach to it that we plan to discuss in the new year. We want our ambassadors out there, spreading our name far and wide, both digitally and in person, so we are finalizing a way to do both. Stay tuned and if you are interested in becoming a CroSwap ambassador then reach out to us on our Discord so we can start to collate our list!

A LOT of you have been asking for this for a good long while, and the reason we haven’t launched this sooner is that we didn’t feel at the time Merch was something that needed to be prioritized. Gnosis Multi-Sig Safe

Although CroSwap was the first project on Cronos to bring the Gnosis Multi-Sig Safe to the Cronos Chain, it has sat quietly on the backburner in terms of our focus and priority. Crypto is a fast moving and ever changing place and in certain climates there is a need to focus your efforts elsewhere for the overall betterment of your project or community experience. Our focus was on timelocking farms, utility NFTs, QOL updates and NFT Staking for the most part. Now we are committed to refocusing our efforts back to complete areas of work that we started.

With that being said, in the early stages of the new year, you will see more information become available for establishing and using our CroSwap Gnosis Safe, as we feel this is something every project should have, in order to protect their project and community funds.

Analytics and Listings

We have now completed our analytics pages and we now have the capability and capacity to start reaching far and wide on listing sites such as DefiLaama, CMC, CoinGecko, CDC and more! We are primed and ready for takeoff and withstanding all the FUD Kris has been able to brush away so confidently and competently, we feel like this could be the best place for us all to be!

As you can see above we are taking our time to develop high quality, dependable, sustainable, scalable based products for the same reason most of you are still here: Opportunity. We may not bounce around from product to product at rocket speed like other projects, but when developing products built to last, it takes a little extra time and care.

Yes, we could easily and very quickly launch subpar products, with little to no care about their functionality, development, optimization, user experience, etc. However, we aren’t interested in securing the hype and die model, our goal is to be here, quietly developing, building high quality products you can trust years from now in this ever changing world of crypto.
