If you get an [interview call/assignment] for a position in which you don’t have the experience at all.

What should you do?

Don’t underestimate your power to adapt to change.

You can do self-learning by searching and reading as much as you can, while doing the job i.e. learning on the job. so how to go about it?

Do these things:

  1. [Research] Understand the role and domain,
  2. [SWOT] Assess your current skills,
  3. [Truth] Be upfront in the interview/presentation,
  4. [Build] Once assigned/selected Create a team of people with the required skills,
  5. [Feedback] Keep on learning and updating the game plan, &
  6. [Loop] Go to step 5.

Every night before sleeping file an F.I.R. (complain) against yourself:

1. Things not done.

2. Things should not have been done.

3. Things done improperly

Make a commitment with yourself to do better the next day.

Repeat every night.

I fail to understand why teachers in our schools insist that children should use multiple colour pens while doing their assignments or writing examinations?

It appears that children are focusing more on designing instead of content.

After completing my education (17 years of schooling), I have been teaching at the university level since 1990. During the period I headed a college, many teaching departments in addition to teaching.

I also developed content for many courses and designed full degree programmes [one, two and four years]. I am/was also on the Board of Studies [Business studies] of two Universities.

We, [I and my students] never needed more than one pen.

Should we not revert back to the single pen model, so students could focus on the quality of contents rather than presentation?
